Service providers
Sectorscope relies on specialist technology providers to operate parts of the service. These may include authentication and database infrastructure, website hosting, security, analytics and other technical services.
Supabase is used for database and authentication infrastructure. Analytics may be used to understand site reliability and general content engagement. Providers may process information on Sectorscope's behalf in accordance with their own infrastructure arrangements and applicable agreements.
AI and editorial systems
Sectorscope uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence, as part of its internal news and editorial workflow. These systems are designed to analyse source material and prepare or review Sectorscope content. Account and profile information is not collected for the purpose of generating editorial articles.
Overseas processing
Some technology providers used by Sectorscope may store or process information using infrastructure located outside Australia. The countries involved can depend on the provider and the final production configuration.
Security
Sectorscope uses technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably required to provide the service, meet operational or legal requirements, resolve disputes and maintain security and audit records. Information that is no longer reasonably required may be deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
