Source-first publishing

Sectorscope prioritises authoritative and primary sources including government departments, regulators, legislation, statutory bodies, official reports and other recognised sector organisations.

Published stories identify the original source where practical so readers can review the underlying material directly.

AI-assisted editorial workflow

Sectorscope uses artificial intelligence and automation to extract source material, prepare drafts and review articles against their sources.

The automated workflow includes structured drafting rules, deterministic quality checks and a separate source-based review stage. Articles that do not pass required checks can be held from automatic publication for further review.

Not every article is manually reviewed by a person before publication. Sectorscope therefore treats transparency, source linking and correction processes as important parts of the publishing system.

Facts, interpretation and uncertainty

Sectorscope aims to distinguish confirmed information from interpretation. Announcements, consultations, proposals, recommendations and government responses should not be described as final decisions unless the source supports that conclusion.

Where a source does not establish a particular effect or outcome, Sectorscope should avoid presenting that outcome as certain.

Practical impact

Role-impact information is intended to help readers understand how a development may relate to common community-services roles. It remains general information and is not individual professional, employment, legal or clinical advice.

Corrections and updates

Sectorscope may correct, clarify, update or withdraw material when reliable new information becomes available or an error is identified.

Correction requests can be sent to contact@sectorscope.com.au.

Source imagery

Where suitable source imagery is available, Sectorscope may display imagery associated with the original source. When appropriate source imagery is unavailable, Sectorscope uses its own category-based visual treatment instead.

Commercial independence

Advertising, sponsorship or commercial arrangements, if introduced, should be clearly distinguishable from editorial material and should not determine the factual conclusions of Sectorscope articles.
